Covering the wood pile with a tarp.

Pick up a waterproof tarp with reinforced grommets to cover your pile and keep it dry.

You could really use a tarp, a temporary shelter, a woodshed, rubber roof, or anything else that will keep your wood dry until use. The important part is making sure it won’t blow away and that it actually keeps your wood dry. I like to use bungee cords to secure it for easy access. A few field stones can be added to the top of the pile over the tarp for extra security.
