Using spacing between pallets to maximize pile size

Here’s a little trick that lets you get more wood onto a pile.

By leaving 6-10 inches between pallets and covering it with wood, you can get more wood onto less pallets. The downside to this is you won’t be able to shrink wrap, separate, and move individual pallets with a forklift or tractor.
